About this registered nurse pool gift
A registered nurse pool is a group of nurses who pick up shifts across several units or facilities, so the people you're buying for are often the ones who walk into a stranger's ward every week and have to learn the room fast. They know the drive between sites, the scrub pockets that never hold enough, and the particular exhaustion of starting over on a new floor. A gift that acknowledges the flexibility of pool work tends to land better than a generic nurse shirt. Put their pool name or the word RN on the front, and use the second line for their home unit, their agency, or the year they joined. Pool nurses often keep a mug at whichever station they're covering that day, so an 11 oz mug with their name is practical as well as sweet. Hoodies are useful for the cold stockrooms and early shifts that come with the job. Nurses Week runs May 6 to 12 every year, and it's a good time to order a few extra for the team.
