About this restaurant crew member gift
Restaurant crew members work the line, the register, the drive-thru and the dish pit, often on their feet through a rush and back again for the closing shift. The gifts that last tend to be practical ones they can actually use on a shift: a soft tee for the drive home, a hoodie for the walk-in cooler and the cold mornings before open, a mug that's clearly theirs so it doesn't disappear into the break room. What lands best is the detail that shows you know what the job is. Put their role on it, the way the crew calls it, and add their name or the restaurant's shift they usually work. It turns a generic work shirt into something they'd wear with pride. If you're buying for a whole crew, one design with each person's name on their own shirt makes a better team gift than a round of takeout. A simple, sturdy tee or a warm hoodie is hard to beat for someone who works long hours on their feet.
