About this rn travel gift
Travel nurses take short-term contracts in hospitals far from home, often moving every thirteen weeks or so, and they're the ones who have to learn a new unit, new charting system and new coworkers in a matter of days. A gift for them should acknowledge that restlessness. A tee they can wear on the way to a new assignment, a hoodie for the cold ward they didn't expect, or a mug that comes along to the next apartment all say you noticed how much they pack and unpack. Put RN Travel on the front and add a detail that's theirs, like a specialty, a year they started, or a nickname from the agency. Travel nurses often lose track of which shirt is theirs when laundry is shared across rotations, so a name on the back helps too. Nurses Week runs May 6 to 12 every year and is a good moment to send something, though these nurses tend to get gifts whenever they land somewhere new.
