About this rnfa gift
An RNFA is a registered nurse who works in the operating room as a first assistant to the surgeon, so they're on their feet through long cases, handling retractors, closing, and keeping the field organized. They've already done the work of an RN and then trained further for the OR, which is a real accomplishment worth marking. What lands best for them is a gift that recognizes that specific path. Put RNFA on the shirt, and add their unit or hospital's name if you know it, or the year they completed their certification in the second line. Their credential is what sets them apart from a general nurse, so make it the centerpiece. Hoodies suit the cold OR and the drive home after an early start, and a mug fits the break room where the whole team gathers between cases.
