About this shift manager gift
A shift manager is the person who keeps the floor running when the schedule goes sideways: covering call-outs, closing out the register, and handling the customer who wants to speak to someone in charge. Their day is split between the line and the office, often on their feet for long stretches and then buried in staffing sheets. Gifts that land for them are the ones that acknowledge both halves of the job. A comfortable tee or hoodie for the long close, a mug for the back-office coffee they keep forgetting to drink while it's hot. Add the word itself, shift manager, and the shirt becomes the one they'd never buy for themselves. If they run a particular department, put that in the second line, the way a team lead or store name would appear. The shift manager who has been doing this for years usually gets the most from something that says their title plainly, with no joke attached.
