About this sign language teacher gift
Sign language teachers spend their days with their hands, faces and whole bodies doing the talking, and they often go home with sore wrists and a voice that's been used for fingerspelling instead. They work with Deaf students, hearing families, interpreters in training and classroom aides, and many of them have a story about the first sign that clicked for a student. A gift that acknowledges the craft fits them well. A tee or hoodie that says sign language teacher is a sharp way to show you noticed the work, and it suits the classroom, a community class or an ASL club on campus. An 11 oz mug is the one they'll reach for during a long grading session. If you know their program, their school or the signs they teach most, add it on the second line so the design feels like it was made for them.
