About this step down unit nurse gift
A step down unit nurse has usually spent years at the bedside before moving into a role that's slightly less intense but still exhausting. They're the ones who keep a patient stable after a rapid response, or who transfer someone out of the ICU with a plan the floor can actually follow. They work long shifts, carry a lot of responsibility, and rarely get a day that feels fully theirs. A gift that acknowledges that path lands well: a tee for the commute, a hoodie for the chilly break room, a mug that's clearly theirs so it doesn't wander off during a long shift. Put the phrase on the shirt exactly as they describe it, or add their unit underneath, such as Step Down or Telemetry, so it feels specific rather than generic. If you're buying for a whole team, the Team Shop lets you print one design with everyone's name on their own shirt, which tends to mean more than another round of coffee.
