About this supervisor laboratory gift
A laboratory supervisor usually knows the bench work better than anyone on the team, then spends the day scheduling runs, checking QC logs, handling the instrument that went down at 6 a.m., and translating between the lab and everyone who needs results yesterday. Most of that happens behind a closed door, so a gift that acknowledges the role lands well. A tee or hoodie with their title on it is something they can wear to a conference or to a Saturday project at home. A mug earns its place on the desk, where the coffee goes cold during the afternoon review. Put their exact title on it, lab supervisor or the department they run, and it reads as something chosen for them rather than a generic lab shirt. If you're shopping for a whole team who all reports to the same supervisor, the Team Shop can print one design with each person's name on their own shirt, which is a nice way to say thanks without a long speech.
