About this surgical assist gift
A surgical assist works shoulder to shoulder with the surgeon for hours at a time, handling retraction, suction and sutures while staying focused on every movement in the room. The gifts they tend to keep are the ones that match that level of attention: a soft tee for the drive home after a long case, a hoodie for the chilly OR, a mug that's clearly theirs so it doesn't wander off the break room counter. Surgical assist is a role that gets little public recognition, so a shirt with the title on it is a quiet way to say you see what they do. Add their credential if it's one they earned, such as a surgical technologist certification or their credential, and the design starts to look like it was made for them. If you're buying for a whole team, one design with each person's name on their own shirt is a practical thank-you that everyone can wear on their days off.
