About this system director gift
A system director usually runs the big picture: budgets, staffing, the vendors who keep the lights on, and the plans that show up as a new system rollout six months later. Their days are a run of meetings and escalations, and the gifts they keep are the ones that acknowledge that work without making a fuss. A hoodie for the early-morning drive to a site, a mug for the desk where the coffee goes cold during budget season, or a tee for the weekend they finally get to stop thinking about uptime. The strongest move is to make it theirs: add their department, their organization's initials, or the year they took the role. A generic professional shirt says you noticed the job exists. A shirt with their title and a detail from their career says you noticed them. The store prints the word and a second line, so you can keep the title and add a team, a campus or a start year. If you're buying for a whole leadership group, the Team Shop prints one design with each person's name on their own shirt, which tends to land better than another round of lunch.
