About this technical services librarian gift
Technical services librarians work behind the scenes: they order, catalog, process and fix the records that let everyone else find a book. Most patrons never see their work, which is exactly why a gift with their title on it can feel so good. A tee or hoodie that says technical services librarian is a small, slightly funny acknowledgment of a job that rarely gets one. For a coworker heading into a long cataloging project, an 11 oz mug is the everyday version, the one that comes out during the afternoon backlog. If they're newly certified or just finished a library science degree, a hoodie with their title and the year makes a strong milestone gift. You can add a second line for their library, their department or a year, so the design reads as theirs and not as a generic library shirt.
