About this technology internship gift
A technology intern is usually in the middle of a big transition: new tools, new people, and a lot of trying to look like they belong on a team that already knows its way around. The gifts that land for them are the ones that acknowledge that, something to wear to the office on a casual Friday or a mug for the desk they're still learning to claim. A hoodie is a good fit for the cold conference room and the late-night debugging session that always seems to happen. Add the company's name only if you know it for certain, or leave it out and let the word technology internship do the talking. Put their first name on it, or the year they started, and it becomes something they'll hold onto after the internship ends and the job title changes. Many interns are students, so a graduation-year line works for them too.
