About this tow mate gift
A tow mate, sometimes called a tow truck operator or wrecker driver, spends long hours on the shoulder of busy roads, often in bad weather and at night, helping drivers who are having the worst day of their trip. The gifts that land with them tend to be practical and a little bit proud: a hoodie for cold roadside calls, a mug for the truck cab, a tee for the days off. Putting their own word on the product matters, because most people in this line of work are known by their company name, their truck number or their first name on the radio, and a design that says tow mate is theirs. Add a second line with their name, their company, or the year they started, and the shirt stops being generic and becomes the one they reach for on a day off. A mug with their name is also a quiet way to say you noticed the work, since the first thing they do on a long shift is make coffee.
