About this trujillo gift
Trujillo is a family name with deep roots in Spanish-speaking communities across the Americas, and in the US many families carry it through generations of cousins, aunts and grandparents. A shirt with the family name is how everyone finds each other at a reunion, a quinceañera, a wedding or a birthday cookout where the whole table is related. It also works for the person who has always been the keeper of the family stories, the one who knows which branch lives where. Add a reunion year, a city, or the names of the grandparents underneath, and the shirt becomes a record of who the family is. A mug suits the kitchen where relatives end up gathering anyway. If you're organizing for a group, the Team Shop lets you order one design with each person's first name printed on their own shirt, so no one has to guess a size from a group text.
