About this undergrad intern gift
An undergrad intern is usually juggling a class schedule, a part-time job and a summer placement all at once, and the gifts they'll actually use are the ones that fit into that mess. A soft tee for the first day on site, a hoodie for the cold office or the late train home, a mug for the coffee they're probably making at seven in the morning. What lands best is a detail that shows you know where they are in their path: their school or department, the company they're interning at, or the year they're graduating. Type that into the second line of a design and it stops being a generic intern shirt and becomes theirs. If you're buying for a whole intern class, the Team Shop lets you order one design with each intern's name on their own shirt, which is a nicer send-off than another round of donuts. Many internships wrap up in late summer, so order a little ahead if you want it in hand for the last week.
