About this undergraduate internship gift
An undergraduate intern is usually somewhere between a student and a professional, often working a summer or a semester in an office, lab, newsroom or clinic while classes are still on their calendar. They're learning a lot, carrying a bag full of questions and trying to look like they belong in a building full of people with badges. A gift that acknowledges that in-between stage tends to land well. A tee or hoodie that names the internship and the year gives them something to wear on the first day back on campus, and a mug on their desk marks the summer they figured out what they like. Add the company or department name in the second line if you know it, or a role like Summer Intern or Lab Intern. Many interns also get their first real paycheck that season, so a small, practical gift they'll use every day tends to be remembered longer than a card.
