About this unit aide gift
A unit aide is often the person who knows the residents best: which chair they like, which joke gets a laugh, who needs an extra minute with breakfast. The job is physical and steady, with long shifts on your feet, lifting, bathing and keeping rooms and routines running while the nurses handle the medical side. Gifts that land tend to be practical and personal, because they get worn or used on the way in and out of the building. A soft tee for the drive home, a hoodie for a cold break room, or a mug that's clearly theirs so it doesn't wander off during a shift. Add their name, or the unit they work on, and it stops being generic and becomes theirs. If you're buying for a whole care team, one design with each aide's name on their own shirt is a thoughtful way to say the work gets noticed.
