About this unpaid intern gift
An unpaid intern is usually running on coffee, a tight budget and a lot of hope that the experience will pay off later. They're often the one who fetches lunch, sits in on meetings they're not quite sure they belong in, and quietly takes notes on everything. A gift that acknowledges the hustle lands well: a tee for the commute between the internship and the second job, a hoodie for the chilly office or the late-night project push, or a mug for the coffee they're probably brewing in the shared kitchen. Add a line that names the role or their first name, and it becomes theirs instead of a generic work shirt. For someone who's been told that exposure is its own reward, a gift that says they're on their way can mean more than you'd expect.
