About this vice chancellor gift
A vice chancellor runs the day-to-day of a university, which means budget meetings, commencement, and a calendar that never has an empty hour. Many of them came up through the faculty ranks, so they know what it's like to grade papers at midnight and still show up at the dean's reception. A gift for them should acknowledge that weight without being solemn. A hoodie for the drive home from a long board meeting, or a mug for the first coffee before the day's first crisis, will get far more use than anything formal. Put their title on it, add the institution or the year they took the post, and it becomes a keepsake they'll recognize as theirs. If you're buying for a whole leadership team or a department celebrating a retirement, the Team Shop lets you pick one design and print each person's name on their own shirt.
