About this video technician gift
Video technicians spend their days in control rooms, on location and up ladders, keeping cameras, switchers and feeds running while everyone else watches the screen. The gifts they tend to keep are the ones that acknowledge the less glamorous side of the job: a comfortable tee for a long shoot, a hoodie for a cold broadcast truck, a mug that sits by the monitor through a late edit. Make it theirs by putting Video Technician on the front and adding their specialty or crew name on the second line, such as Broadcast, Live Events or Studio. It reads as a real piece of their working identity rather than a generic job shirt. If you're buying for a whole crew, one design with each person's name on their own shirt is an easy way to say you noticed the work they do together.
