About this vp market development gift
A VP of market development is usually the person who has been quietly pushing the company into new regions, new customer segments and new channels, often with a spreadsheet that nobody else wanted to open. They spend a lot of their week in meetings, on calls with partners and on planes, so a gift that makes the commute or the quarterly review a little more fun tends to land well. Market development is a title that a lot of people outside the business don't understand, which is part of why a shirt or mug with the title on it is a conversation starter they'll enjoy. Put their name on it, or add the company or region they lead, and it becomes theirs rather than a generic job title. For a leadership team sending a farewell or a promotion gift, a single design with each person's name on their own shirt is a nicer touch than another round of catered lunch.
