About this wellhead pumper gift
A wellhead pumper spends the day checking oil and gas wells across a lease, reading gauges, logging production numbers and keeping equipment running in every kind of weather. The work is outdoors and early, often on gravel roads far from the nearest town, so the gifts that land are the ones that go with them out to the field. A tee for the truck ride, a hoodie for the cold mornings before the sun comes up, a mug for the coffee they drink while the pumping unit runs. Put their name or their crew on it, or add a second line with the company or lease they work for, and it stops being a generic work shirt and becomes theirs. Many pumpers are proud of knowing a set of wells better than anyone, so a design that reflects that pride tends to be kept and worn for years.
