About this xylorimba gift
A xylorimba is a large marimba-like instrument built in the Central African tradition, with a deep, warm tone and a bigger range than most people expect. The player who owns one usually spends hours at it, often in a school ensemble, a community group or a world music class, and the instrument can be expensive and easy to take for granted. A gift that names the instrument tells them you noticed what they spend their evenings on. A dark tee or hoodie suits a performer heading to rehearsal or a gig, and a mug works well for the practice-room coffee. Put their name or their group's name on the second line so it's clearly theirs, and you'll have a gift that fits how they actually play.
All xylorimba gifts →- A tee for gig daysChoose the Dark T-Shirt so the design stands out on black, and add the player's name or group name.
- A hoodie for cold rehearsal roomsMany school and community practice spaces run cold, so a warm hoodie with the instrument's name is useful and personal.
- A mug for the practice breakAn 11oz mug with their name makes a good everyday reminder that the instrument is part of who they are.
- A kids tee for a young playerIf a young student is learning, a kids tee with the instrument name is a fun way to show you're proud of their progress.
