About this yayli tanbur gift
A yayli tanbur is a long-necked Turkish lute, the kind you'll hear in Turkish classical and folk music, played by someone who has likely spent years learning its tuning and its long, sustained phrases. Musicians who play it tend to care a lot about their instrument, which is why a shirt or mug with the name on it lands well. Think about who they are: a student at a conservatory, a player in a folk ensemble, someone who brings the tanbur to weddings, or a hobbyist who has taken it up later in life. Each of those people might want something different. A dark tee works for a performer who lives in black on stage, a hoodie is good for cold rehearsal rooms, and a mug suits the practice-session tea break. Add their name or the ensemble's name in the second line, and a generic instrument shirt becomes theirs.
