About this zither gift
A zither player is usually someone who has spent years learning the chord-and-melody patterns of a flat, stringed instrument that sits across the lap or on a table, often in folk, Alpine or film music settings. The zither is less common than a guitar, so a player may be the only one in their circle who plays it, and that makes a gift with their instrument on it feel personal. Many zither players also play in small ensembles, teach beginners or perform at festivals and family gatherings. A shirt or hoodie with the word zither is a good match for a rehearsal, a recital or a casual evening at home. A mug works best for the practice routine, the morning tea before a lesson, or the friend who keeps asking how the strings are doing. You can add a second line for their name, a group or a year to make it theirs.
