About this software developer internship gift
Software developer interns are usually in their first real job, still learning the codebase, the team's tools and the unwritten rules of standups. Most of them are working long hours on tight deadlines while trying to look like they've done this forever. A gift that says they belong on the team lands well: a tee for the first week in the office, a hoodie for the cold conference room or the late-night push before a release, or a mug for the coffee that keeps the debugging going. Put the word software developer intern on the shirt, or add their name and the year they started. It turns a generic tech tee into something they'll wear to mark the start of their career. If the internship is ending, a mug or hoodie with the season and year makes a good keepsake as they head back to school or on to their next role.
