About this solution spec gift
A solution spec is the document that turns a messy problem into something a team can actually build: the requirements, the constraints, the design decisions and the reasons behind them. The people who write them tend to spend their days in long review threads and planning meetings, so a gift that acknowledges the work they do quietly, rather than shouting about it, usually lands best. A plain tee with their title on it works for a day in the office or a weekend of errands. A hoodie suits the cold commute and the late-night deadline. A mug is the one that ends up on their desk next to the second monitor, where it gets used every morning. If their job title is the one they'd put on a business card, that is the line to type in, since it's the way they introduce themselves. Adding a second line with their team or company name can make it feel like theirs rather than a generic job shirt.
All solution spec gifts →- A mug for the deskAn 11 oz mug with their title is the kind of thing that stays on the desk through every sprint and planning cycle.
- A hoodie for the long daysSolution specs often get written late, so a warm hoodie with their title covers the late-night drafting sessions.
- A tee for the teamUse the Team Shop to order one design with each teammate's name, so the whole group can wear it on launch day.
