About this admissions manager gift
An admissions manager spends the year in two worlds at once: the spreadsheets and application files, and the nervous families who want to know if their kid will fit. The busy stretch is long. There are fall tours, early deadlines, winter reading marathons, spring decision days and a summer of yield calls, and a lot of it happens in an office with questionable heating and a mug that's been refilled five times. Gifts that work for this person are comfortable, practical and a little proud of the job. A hoodie for the campus visit days, a tee for the casual Friday that never feels casual enough, a mug that stays on their desk. Put their title on it, or add a second line with the school, the office name or a year, such as Class of 2029. If you're buying for the whole office, the Team Shop prints one design with each person's name, which beats another sheet cake on decision day.
