About this advertising designer gift
Advertising designers live in a world of briefs, revisions and deadlines that somehow always land on Friday afternoon. They spend their days making other people's brands look good, so a gift that's about them, not a client, tends to hit harder than another desk gadget. They notice type, spacing and color before they notice anything else, which means the design matters more than the slogan. Pick something clean, then make it theirs: change the main line to their exact title, like art director, creative director or junior designer, or use the second line for their agency crew, a campaign nickname or the year they started. A hoodie suits the over-air-conditioned studio, a tee works for casual Fridays, and a mug is the right size for the third coffee before a pitch. If you're buying for a whole creative team, the Team Shop puts one design on everyone, each with their own name.
All advertising designer gifts →- A hoodie for the cold studioPut their title on the front, like Art Director or Senior Designer, and they've got something to wear through late nights before a pitch.
- A mug for the deskAn 11 oz mug with their name or a line about final-final-v3 revisions gives them something to hold during the next round of feedback.
- Matching tees for the creative teamChoose one design in the Team Shop, paste the names of everyone on the account, and each person gets their own size. It works well for a campaign launch or an agency off-site.
- A tee for a new designerFor someone landing their first agency job, add the year they started on a tee they'll actually wear on casual Friday.
