About this bombay gift
Bombay can mean two very different things, and this page serves both. For cat people, it's the Bombay: the sleek, all-black cat with the copper eyes who looks like a tiny panther and behaves like a lap dog. Owners tend to be devoted, and a Bombay cat gift tends to land because it's about their particular animal, not cats in general. Put the cat's own name on a shirt, a mug or a hoodie and it becomes theirs. For the other crowd, Bombay is the old name for Mumbai, still used with real affection by people who grew up there or whose family did. A Bombay tee suits the homesick, the nostalgic and anyone who still can't quite say the new name. Add a second line with a name, a year or a neighborhood, and check the preview before you order.
All bombay gifts →- A tee with the cat's nameType Bombay on the main line and the cat's name underneath, for the owner who talks about their black cat constantly.
- A mug for the morning routineAn 11 oz mug with Bombay and their cat's name sits next to the coffee maker, where the cat is probably already waiting.
- A dark tee for a black catA dark T-shirt suits the theme, and a Bombay design on it feels right for someone whose cat matches their wardrobe.
- A hoodie for someone from the old cityIf they grew up in Bombay, put the year they left or the neighborhood they're from on a hoodie they'll wear on cold days.
