About this boykin spaniel gift
The Boykin Spaniel is a medium-sized flushing dog from South Carolina, known as the state dog there, and most people who love one will tell you it's the best-kept secret in the spaniel world. They're bred to work: hunting upland game and waterfowl, retrieving from marshes and ponds, and then settling in at home as a calm, eager companion who wants to be wherever you are. Owners of Boykins tend to be outdoorsy and loyal to their dogs in a very particular way. A shirt with the breed name works well for a day at the lake, a training session in the field, or a dog show weekend. Add the dog's name in the second line and the shirt becomes about that one dog, which is what most owners want. A mug suits the owner who starts every morning with coffee and a wet nose on their knee.
