About this buras gift
Buras is a small place in Plaquemines Parish, Louisiana, a town of bayou and marsh country, and the people who call it home tend to hold on to that. A Buras shirt is how someone wears their hometown in a city where nobody has heard of it, or how a family left behind by someone who moved away keeps them close. Because the town is small, a shirt that just says Buras already carries a lot of meaning for the people who know it. Add a second line for a year, a street or a family name and it becomes personal. Buras makes a good gift for someone heading off to college, starting a new job far from home, or just missing the place they grew up. A mug on the kitchen counter or a hoodie for the cold morning drive can be a daily reminder of where they're from.
