About this burien gift
Burien is a small city on the southwest edge of Seattle, and people who live there tend to be proud of it in a quiet way. Plenty of them grew up near the water at Seahurst or Lake Burien and never felt the need to move into the big city. A shirt with Burien on it is the kind of thing they wear to the farmers market, the grocery store, or a local high school game, and it reads as home. For a grad moving on or a longtime resident who's always been a little underrated, a hoodie or mug says you know where they're from. Add a second line like a street, a school, or the year they moved in, and the design becomes theirs. If you're not sure how well you know the city, a plain Burien tee is still a safe, warm choice for anyone who calls it home.
