About this cottekill gift
Cottekill is a small hamlet in Ulster County, New York, tucked into the Catskills and easy to miss if you're driving through. People who grew up there, or who moved away and still call it home, tend to be proud of how little it takes to feel like a community in a place like that. A gift that says Cottekill is a way of claiming a spot on the map that not everybody knows. Start with a shirt, since many designs come in light and dark versions and both kids and adults can wear them. A hoodie suits the cold mountain winters, and a mug is the everyday reminder for someone who misses the hills. Because the town is small, the name itself is the story, so you don't need to add much more than that.
