About this de kalb junction gift
De Kalb Junction is a small village in Jefferson County, New York, near the Canadian border and the St. Lawrence River country. People who grew up there tend to hold onto it, whether they still live in the area or have moved to a city a few hours south. A shirt with the village name is a quiet way to say where you're from, and it lands best with someone who has a real connection to the place: a former classmate, a family that's been there for generations, or a neighbor who moved away and misses the quiet streets. Because it's a small place, a gift with the village name on it can mean more than a generic souvenir. Add a second line with a year, a family name or the words Born Here or Home, and it becomes personal. For someone who moved away, a mug with the village name is an easy morning reminder of home.
