About this dungannon gift
Dungannon is a market town in County Tyrone in Northern Ireland, and the people who come from there tend to carry it with them. Someone who grew up on its streets may now be living in Belfast, Dublin, Glasgow or abroad, and a shirt with their hometown on it is a quick way to say where they're from. Dungannon is a small place, so a lot of its pride lives in the local details: the people, the schools, the years they spent there. Put the town name on the front and add a year, a street, or the school they went to on the second line, and the shirt becomes personal to them rather than a general souvenir. A mug works well for the one who moved away and misses home at breakfast, and a hoodie suits someone who still wears their hometown proudly through a cold winter abroad.
