About this flight engineer gift
A flight engineer is the crew member who keeps the aircraft's systems running, watching gauges, fuel, hydraulics and electrical loads so the pilots can concentrate on flying. Much of the job happens in the cockpit or on the flight deck, often on long hauls with few breaks and irregular sleep. A gift that acknowledges that work lands better than a generic aviation shirt. Put their title on the front, and use the second line for the aircraft type they fly, their airline or squadron, or the year they earned their wings. For a flight engineer who has been in the trade for decades, a mug with their name and title is a daily reminder that the work counts. For someone newly qualified, a hoodie with the year they started is a good way to mark the milestone and something they'll wear on early morning crew transport.
