About this graduate intern gift
A graduate intern is usually a student or recent grad working a summer or semester placement, often a full schedule of real tasks on top of coursework, with a lot of questions asked and a lot of coffee run. They're trying to look competent while learning fast, and they'll wear whatever gets them through the early mornings and the long commute. A tee or hoodie with their title on it says they're in the thick of it, and a name line makes it theirs. Add the program year or the department if you know it, and the shirt becomes a memento of this particular internship. Since internships often end when the contract does, a mug or hoodie they can keep for the next role is a practical way to mark the milestone.
