About this green island gift
Green Island is a small place, and the people who grew up there tend to carry it with them. Whether they're still on the island, living in a city, or back for a summer visit, a Green Island shirt is an easy way to say where they're from without a long explanation. It's the kind of gift that works for a homesick transplant, a relative who's always talking about the old place, or a friend who finally made the move back. Because the name is distinctive, people will ask about it, which gives them something to talk about. Pick a light tee for warm weather or a hoodie for the cold months, and add a second line if you know a street, a year they left, or a family name. A mug is a good pick for the kitchen table, where a hometown tends to come up in conversation anyway.
