About this hammondsport gift
Hammondsport is a small village at the south end of Keuka Lake in the Finger Lakes region of New York, a place people tend to leave and then come back to. A shirt with the village name is how someone who grew up there, or someone who just loves the lake and its wineries, tells the story without a long explanation. Hammondsport is small enough that a name on a tee lands with people who know it, and curious enough to start conversations with everyone else. For someone who has moved away, a mug or hoodie carries the lake with them through a winter in a city. For someone still living there, a shirt is an easy way to say you know exactly where you belong. Add a second line with a graduation year, a family name or a street, and the design becomes theirs rather than a souvenir.
