About this information architect gift
Information architects spend their days deciding how a website, app or internal system should be organized, so a person can find what they need without thinking about it. They run card sorts, draw site maps and argue about navigation labels, and the best ones are quiet about it because the work only shows when it fails. A gift that fits that mindset is clean and a little clever: a plain tee with their title, a hoodie for the long stretch of stakeholder meetings, or a mug for the desk where the sitemap lives. Type information architect into the text box, then add a second line for their team, their company's product area, or the year they started the role. Working in a lot of different groups makes this job feel like a moving target, so a shirt with their title on it is a small, sure thing in a field full of changing labels.
