Yellow Dot Intervention Specialist mug

About this intervention specialist gift

An intervention specialist works with students who have disabilities, usually in a resource room or a self-contained classroom, and spends the day adapting lessons, writing IEPs and running small groups that take patience to get right. It's a job that's easy to undervalue from the outside, and many of them buy their own classroom supplies. A gift that shows you see the work tends to land best. Put intervention specialist on a tee or hoodie they can wear to school or to a weekend project, or add their school name or grade band on the second line so it's specific to them. A name mug for the staff room is a practical pick, since the coffee there tends to disappear. If you're buying for a whole department or a team of co-teachers, the Team Shop lets you print one design with each person's name on their own shirt, which makes a better end-of-year thank-you than another card.
