About this ixonia gift
Ixonia is a small village in Jefferson County, Wisconsin, and the people who call it home tend to be proud of it in a quiet, rooted way. A shirt with the village name is the kind of gift that gets worn to the farmers' market, the high school game, the family reunion, and the first trip back after a move. Because the name is short and unusual, it draws a question every time, which is part of the fun for someone who likes to explain where they're from. Think about who you're buying for: a long-time resident who never leaves, a grad heading off to college who wants a reminder of home, or a relative who moved away and misses the place. Each of them will get something different out of the same word. Add a second line with a street, a year they moved in, or a family name, and the shirt becomes theirs rather than just a town souvenir.
