About this kolin gift
Kolin is a city in the Czech Republic, a small town in the Central Bohemian Region on the Elbe river, known for its old town square and its long history as a railway and industrial hub. A shirt or mug with Kolin on it is for someone with a real connection to the place: someone born there, someone with family in the region, or someone who spent a few years living or studying nearby and came home with a fondness for it. For the person who's Czech-American or who has relatives back home, a Kolin piece says something their everyday city shirts can't. Because the name is less familiar to most shoppers, the easiest way to make it theirs is a second line: the year they moved, the street they grew up on, or a family name. A Kolin mug is a practical reminder on the kitchen counter, and a hoodie suits someone heading into the cold months back in Central Europe.
