About this la place gift
La Place is a small town in St. John the Baptist Parish, Louisiana, on the River Road west of New Orleans. Most people who grew up there know the roads, the river and the way a small place holds onto you even after you leave. A La Place shirt works as a hometown badge for someone who has moved away, a reunion tee for a class that graduated together, or a simple way to claim where they're from when someone asks. For a longtime resident, a hoodie for the cooler months or a mug for the morning coffee keeps the town close every day. Add a second line with the graduation year or a street name, and the gift stops being a generic place shirt and becomes a memory they can point to.
