About this manager publishing gift
Managers in publishing juggle manuscripts, deadlines, authors who need hand-holding, and a production schedule that never sits still. They tend to live in a stack of galleys and a long run of email, so a gift that makes the workday a little lighter tends to land well. A mug for the first coffee before the morning meeting, a hoodie for the cold office or the late-night proofreading push, or a tee that says what they do is a nice way to say you noticed the work. Publishing is a field where people often wear their job like a badge, so putting the exact title on the shirt, such as Manager or Publishing, makes it feel personal rather than generic. If you're buying for a colleague, add the imprint or the team's name in the second line so it reads as theirs.
