About this new albin gift
New Albin is a small town in northeastern Iowa, and the people who call it home tend to hold on to it hard, whether they're still there or have moved to Des Moines, Chicago or somewhere farther off. A New Albin shirt is how they say where they're from, at a reunion, a county fair, or a high school gathering where everyone is wearing their hometown. Small towns run on that kind of pride. The product that fits best depends on the person: a hoodie for cold football nights and winter drives, a mug for the homesick transplant's morning coffee, or a tee for the grandkid who's just learning where Grandma grew up. Add a second line with a graduation year or a family name and it becomes theirs. Because the town is small, a shirt with the name on it is also an easy conversation starter for someone far from home who meets another person from New Albin.
