Yellow Dot Nipomo mug

About this nipomo gift

Nipomo is a small town on the Central Coast of California, in San Luis Obispo County, and the people who live there tend to be proud of it in a quiet way. If you're buying for someone from Nipomo, or someone who has moved away and still thinks of it as home, the gift should feel like the town rather than a generic California souvenir. A shirt with the town's name is a simple way to say where they're from, and it works for the person who grew up there and the one who only passed through and fell for the place. Many designs have a second line, so you can add a year, a street, a school or a nickname the town uses. A hoodie suits the cooler evenings along the coast, and a mug fits the kitchen table where neighbors catch up. Since the town is small, you can make the gift personal by adding the detail only a local would recognize.
