About this packaging designer gift
Packaging designers spend their days deciding how a product looks on a shelf, which fonts a cereal box can get away with, and whether a bottle will survive a truck ride without the label peeling. Their work is everywhere and almost never credited, so a gift that names the job feels like someone finally noticed. A T-shirt or hoodie is handy for studio days and weekend projects, and a mug suits the desk where the mockups get reviewed for the tenth time. The most personal version adds a second line with their studio name, their agency, or the year they started, so the shirt reads as theirs rather than a generic design-job joke. Mention the specific kind of packaging they love, like food, beauty or sustainable materials, and it shows you've paid attention to what they actually make.
