About this pistol river gift
Pistol River is a small coastal community on the southern Oregon coast, and the people who live there tend to be proud of it in a quiet way. Many of them are fishermen, surfers, retirees who came for the ocean, and families who have stayed put for generations. A shirt with the town name is how a local shows they belong to a place that doesn't have a lot of souvenir shops. For someone who grew up there and moved away, a Pistol River mug is a small daily reminder of the river, the beach and the fog that rolls in before lunch. For a kid growing up on the coast, a tee or onesie with the town name is the start of a lifelong connection. Hoodies carry well through the cool, damp months on the coast. Add a second line with a street, a year, or a family name to make it theirs.
